A harbor area monitoring method and system, and a central control system, for solving the technical problem in the prior art that target objects in a harbor area cannot be viewed globally, intuitively and effectively. The harbor area monitoring method comprises: receiving an image collected by each roadside camera arranged in a harbor area (101); performing coordinate transformation and splicing on the received image to obtain a global image of the harbor area from a top-down perspective (102); determining road areas in the global image (103); performing object detection and object tracking on the road areas in the global image to obtain a target object tracking result and classification (104); and presenting the target object tracking result and classification in the global image (105). The technical solution solves the technical problem in the prior art that target objects in a harbor area cannot be viewed globally, intuitively and effectively.
