This teacher data extending device is provided with: a relationship acquiring unit that obtains the relationship among a plurality of features respectively included in a plurality of teacher data sets; a feature selecting unit that selects any one or more of the plurality of features on the basis of the relationship; and a teacher data extending unit that generates, for one or more of the teacher data sets, new teacher data sets in each of which the value of the feature selected by the feature selecting unit has been replaced with the value of the feature in another teacher data set classified in the same class.
