The present invention relates to the fields of medicine and pharmaceutics and sets forth a use of an indirubin compound and bortezomib in preparing a drug for treating multiple myeloma. The present invention has found that an indirubin compound is effective on patients resistant to bortezomib. A drug in which indirubin and bortezomib are used in combination has low toxicity, and the amount of bortezomib is reduced.
