A test system for compact multi-band, near-field to far-field and direct far-field in an anechoic chamber. The system includes a curved reflector with a primary source antenna multi-band feed system located in front of the reflector, on one side and pointing towards the reflector, a secondary near- or far-field source antenna multi-band feed system, which uses horn antennae with a circular waveguide or printed array antennae, with the openings made in the centre of the reflector or in front of same, and a set of antennae under test (AUT) or devices under test (DUT) and associated tower, positioned in a 3D system with rotating table and placed in a quiet zone (QZ) for which the azimuth, pitch and elevation can be varied. In a reception measurement procedure, the primary source antenna feed system transmits various signals with varying frequency, or using polarisation diversity or spatial diversity, towards the reflector, which reflects said signals towards the quiet zone in the form of plane wavefronts at the aperture. The secondary source antenna feed system also transmits various signals of varying frequency, but directs said signals directly towards the quiet zone in the form of spherical wavefronts, and the AUT or DUT receives all signals from the primary and secondary feed systems simultaneously, thus allowing the aggregation of different wireless communication system signals or carriers at the AUT or DUT. A similar process can be carried out for transmission measurements using reciprocity.
