NATURAL GAS LIQUEFIER DESIGN METHOD AND NATURAL GAS LIQUEFIER

[Problem] To provide a technique for designing a natural gas liquefier installed on a floating body such that transportation for the maintenance of devices constituting the natural gas liquefier can be efficiently performed. [Solution] A natural gas liquefier disposed on a floating body, wherein a floor where the largest device is disposed among devices to be maintained that are disposed on floors other than the first floor of a module 20 and that are removed and transported during maintenance is identified. Further, a raising/lowering path is set in the gap between the modules in order to allow the device on the identified floor to be transported in and out. Then, among the remaining floors where no raising/lowering path is set, the floor where the largest device to be maintained is disposed is identified, and a raising/lowering path is disposed on the floor in such a manner as to avoid the raising/lowering path for which the arrangement position has already been set. This process is repeatedly performed with respect to all floors where the raising/lowering path needs to be installed.
