Disclosed is a high-transparency low-color-difference nano coating on a surface of a product. A substrate is exposed to a monomer vapor atmosphere, and a chemical reaction is initiated on the surface of the substrate through plasma discharge so as to form a protective coating, wherein the monomer vapor is vaporized monomer 1 represented by formula (I) or monomer 2 represented by formula (II), or a vaporized mixture of the monomer 1 and the monomer 2. The preparation method for the coating involves placing the substrate in a reaction chamber of a plasma chamber, introducing a plasma source gas, starting plasma discharge for deposition, introducing a monomer into the reaction chamber after vaporization for a chemical vapor deposition reaction, closing plasma discharge for deposition, introducing clean compressed air or an inert gas to regain normal pressure, opening the chamber, and taking out the substrate.
