The present invention concerns a dermatological composition comprising a plant progesterone and at least one plant extract, the plant extract preferably having a soothing, anti-oedematous, decongestant and/or anti-inflammatory effect. The dermatological composition is suitable, in particular, for topical use. The present invention also relates to a method for preparing such a dermatological composition. The present invention also relates to the use of plant progesterone as an agent for relieving breast pain in dermatological compositions and the use of these dermatological compositions for the prevention and/or treatment of mastodynia.
