#$%^&*AU2020101831A420200924.pdf#####ABSTRACT Disclosed is an application of siRNA inhibiting expression of Sestrin2 protein in a preparation of a drug for controlling lung squamous cell carcinoma. A sense strand of the siRNA has a nucleotide sequence as shown in SEQ ID No. 1, and an antisense strand of the siRNA has a nucleotide sequence as shown in SEQ ID No. 2 in the sequence listing. The experiment has proved that the siRNA inhibiting expression of Sestrin2 protein can significantly and specifically inhibit the expression of Sestrin2 in human lung squamous cell carcinoma cells, and transfect the Sestrin2-siRNA into human lung squamous cell carcinoma cells, thereby significantly inhibiting the mitochondrial function of lung squamous cell carcinoma cells, reducing the proliferation rate of lung squamous cell carcinoma cells and increasing the rate of apoptosis of lung squamous cell carcinoma cells.
