The present invention relates to a method by which a service server recommends a coordination fashion item, comprising the steps of: extracting, on the basis of an image of a product that can be purchased in an online market, a label describing the contents of the product, and indexing information about the label so as to generate a product database; generating a style database for a style image of a person wearing a plurality of fashion items; extracting, from a query about an image displayed in a user device, a fashion item to be retrieved, when the query is received, and searching the style database for an item similar to the fashion item on the basis of image similarity; determining, from a style image from which the similar item is retrieved, an item in a category, different from that of the similar item, to be a coordination item; and searching the product database on the basis of image similarity, with respect to the coordination item, and determining a product similar to the coordination item to be a recommended product.
