#$%^&*AU2020102065A420201008.pdf#####ABSTRACT The present invention discloses a nucleotide sequence and use thereof in increasing the density of secretory glandular trichomes in plants, which relates to the field of plant genetic engineering. The nucleotide sequence is selected from the group consisting of: 1) a nucleotide sequence according to any one of SEQ ID NOs: 1, 3 and 5; 2) a nucleotide sequence derived from the nucleotide sequence according to any one of SEQ ID NOs: 1, 3 and 5 through substitution, deletion or addition of one or more nucleotides; 3) a nucleotide sequence having at least 80% homology with any one of SEQ ID NOs: 1, 3 and 5. The present invention significantly increases the density of secretory glandular trichomes by transferring any one of the above nucleotide sequences into the plants by means of genetic engineering.
