Disclosed is a method for suppressing a fault phase residual voltage of a resonant grounding system based on precise tuning control on the active adjustable complex impedance. The method comprises: tracking a fault phase voltage to ground in real time, changing a reactance current injected into a neutral point by using the active adjustable complex impedance, controlling the current of the active adjustable complex impedance by using the proportional and integral stage of a complex phasor, and performing precise tuning control on a zero-sequence loop so that the zero-sequence loop enters a highly resonant state. At this time, both the fault phase voltage to ground and the grounding current are suppressed effectively. The deviations caused by stages such as the grounding resistance in a station, the internal resistance of an arc suppression coil, and the unbalanced admittance of a line to ground are precisely compensated. The method can keep stable convergence when the fault phase is in a high, medium, or low resistance grounding fault, and is a control method for efficiently suppressing the fault phase residual voltage to ground and the residual current.
