A method for determining an optimal storage temperature for aerobic denitrifying bacteria in a sewage treatment, which relates to the technical field of environmental engineering. In the method for determining the optimal storage temperature for aerobic denitrifying bacteria in a sewage treatment, flow cytometry is used to determine the cell viability status of aerobic denitrifying bacteria stored at different temperatures, and the storage temperature of the cell viability status closest to the cell viability status of the aerobic denitrifying bacteria during a trial operation is determined to be the optimal storage temperature. After test data is restored by viability, the cell viability status and performance are verified to be reliable. The step of recovering the viability of aerobic denitrifying bacteria may be omitted, which effectively helps sewage treatment plants preparing to employ aerobic denitrification technology for efficiently removing nitrate nitrogen and total nitrogen to conserve energy and reduce consumption, and thus reduce operating costs, wherein the removal rates of nitrate nitrogen and total nitrogen may reach over 90% and over 88% respectively. At the same time, the described method may effectively shorten the start-up time of an aerobic denitrifying bacteria engineering application and maintain the long-term stable operation of the aerobic denitrification process, which has very high industrial feasibility.
