The present invention provides a method for calculating the number of revolutions of a table tennis ball rotated by hitting of a hitter, comprising the steps of: photographing a rotated table tennis ball; arranging, in a circle of a predetermined radius, the table tennis ball in an image of the photographed table tennis ball; and calculating the number of revolutions of the rotated table tennis ball on the basis of the number of markings of the table tennis ball at least partially passing through the inside of the circle for a predetermined time.
