Provided by the present invention are frame-type prefabricated wallboards and an installation method therefor. A frame-type prefabricated wallboard comprises a prefabricated wallboard module and a prefabricated wall column module. The prefabricated wall column module is provided with L-shaped columns, T-shaped columns, and cross-shaped columns. The prefabricated wallboard module and the prefabricated wall column module are enclosed by an outer border frame comprising vertical frames and horizontal frames to form a hollow integrated frame. The thickness of the outer border frame is 60-300mm, and a wale parallel to a top frame is provided at an inner part of the frame at a distance of 100-600mm from the top frame, so that a lintel may penetrate a lintel space between the wale and the top frame. The prefabricated wallboards are connected one to the other by bolts, and the ultra-light frame-type prefabricated wallboards achieve the non-reliance of a site of building modules on transport machinery for transfer. Due to the greatly reduced weight, each module may be transported and installed by means of small mechanical equipment. Also, there is a unified standard for modular production, and on-site assembly and installation is fast and convenient, which may greatly save on construction costs and construction progress.
