The invention relates to a support (2) for mounting a sound alarm device of an AVAS on the body of a quiet motor vehicle. The support (2) comprises a mounting plate (4) extending longitudinally (L1) and transversely (T) in its extension plane. The mounting plate (4) forms in its plane a base (6) for receiving the sound alarm device and is provided with at least one lug (5a, 5b) for fastening the support (2) to the body of the vehicle, said lug extending vertically (V1) perpendicularly to the plane of the mounting plate (4).
