CATALYST, ITS PROCESS OF PREPARATION, AND APPLICATIONS TOWARDS CARBON DIOXIDE TO CHEMICALS

The present disclosure provides for a catalyst comprising at least one group 10 metal impregnated in a mixed metal oxide selected from the group consisting of the oxides of In, Cu. Zn, Zr, Al, and combinations thereof. The catalyst of the present disclosure is effective in conversion of CO₂ to value added products like methanol (CH₃OH) and carbon monoxide (CO). The present disclosure further discloses a convenient process for preparation of the catalyst.
