The invention relates to equipment for use in sports, for example in golf and/or mini-golf, as a measuring device for determining parameters of balls and properties of playing surfaces. The technical result consists in providing more accurate measurement of the rebound height of a ball. The present device comprises a housing with a means for holding a ball and dropping same from a set height, and an electronic unit for determining the rebound height of the ball. The housing is configured in the form of a rectangular frame mountable to a horizontal surface and delimiting a ball entry zone. Pinpoint light-emitting elements are arranged at regular intervals along one of the inner sides of the frame, and light-detecting elements that are optically connected to said light-emitting elements are arranged on the opposite side of the frame. The light-emitting and light-detecting elements are connected to the electronic unit for determining the rebound height of the ball.
