Disclosed is a master controller for an LED lighting system, making a usable range of a lamp be expanded from an LED display screen to an inner and outer wall of an arbitrary shape of a mansion. The master controller has an excellent performance and wide application scenarios. The master controller comprises a controller (1) and further comprises a decoding chip (2), an SRAM memory (4), a network card chip (5) and a network transformer (6) that are connected to the controller (1) in an electrical control manner, wherein a video signal is input into the controller (1) after the video signal is decoded by the decoding chip (2); the controller (1) stores video image data in the video in the SRAM memory (4), synchronously reads the video image data stored in the SRAM memory (4), and forwards the video image data by means of the network card chip (5); the network card chip (5) sends a data signal to the network transformer (6) in the manner of a differential signal; and the network transformer (6) is used for signal amplification and isolation protection. In addition, further provided is a design for the layout of the master controller for an LED lighting system on a PCB.
