The present invention relates to a method for aquaculture production, the method comprising the steps: placing one or more eggs of an aquatic organism in an incubator container at least partially submerged in an agitated incubating fluid; placing at least one larval adherence device in the incubator container to enable one or more larvae hatched from the one or more eggs to adhere to the at least one larval adherence device; incubating the one or more larvae in the agitated incubating fluid for a first predetermined period; and transferring the at least one larval adherence device to a larval rearing container including a larval rearing fluid for a second predetermined period to form one or more post-larval aquatic organisms. The present invention also relates to an incubating apparatus and a larval rearing apparatus associated with the method described above.
