A company bankruptcy prediction system and an operating method therefor are provided. A method for predicting the bankruptcy risk of a company, according to various embodiments of the present invention, can comprise the steps of: collecting a plurality of news articles from the Internet; selecting a company to be analyzed; classifying, as articles to be analyzed, news articles related to the company to be analyzed, from among the collected plurality of news articles; calculating a risk level for each of the articles to be analyzed; grouping, on the basis of the calculated risk level, the articles to be analyzed, so as to generate feature vectors representing each group; and calculating, on the basis of the generated feature vectors, the bankruptcy risk of the company to be analyzed.
