Provided are a sonar-based marine fish-swarm tracking device and a use method thereof. The device comprises a device shell (4), a floating mechanism (5), a waterproof shell (8) and an accommodating cylinder (10), wherein a solar electric panel (38) is arranged at the upper end of the device shell (4) and is connected to the device shell (4) through bolts, a support column (3) is arranged at the upper end of the solar electric panel (38) and is connected with the device shell (4) through welding, an anemoscope (2) is arranged at the upper end of the support column (3), and an antenna (1) is arranged at the upper end of the anemoscope (2). The advantages are: the structure is reasonable, the device uses a double power generation structure, continuity of equipment power supply is guaranteed, the practicability is improved, operation is easy, a full-automatic monitoring structure is used, the fish-swarm is monitored regularly, the fish-swarm can be tracked according to the environment and position of the fish-swarm, and the monitoring effect is good, using data of multiple sensors to analyze the environment suitable for the fish-swarm, such that the monitoring area is adjusted to avoid dry running of equipment.
