Disclosed is a micro base station application system for local microcell signal coverage. The system comprises a macro base station, a micro base station, and a terminal. The micro base station respectively communicates with the macro base station and the terminal. The micro base station comprises a main control module and a communication module used to support access of different network frequency bands. The main control module is connected to the communication module. The main control module is used to control access of different network frequency bands. The invention relates to the technical field of communications. In the micro base station application system for local microcell signal coverage, the terminal communicates with the macro base station by means of the micro base station, such that the terminal accesses a network; the main control module of the micro base station is connected to the communication module; the main control module controls access of different network frequency bands. The invention resolves the issue of the prior art in which a wireless router and MiFi are both restricted by an access network and cannot freely switch between networks, thereby reducing the effects of an access network on user data transmission, and improving stability.
