The present invention relates to the field of measurement devices, and provides a sensor device that comprises: a tube having two ends, an upper end and a lower end; a measurement chamber in fluid communication with said tube, and positioned at the upper end of said tube, said measurement chamber having a window which is at an angle with respect to the axis of said tube; and a connection for a vacuum line in the upper portion of said measurement chamber. A system for in-line measurement of bubble-size distribution in flotation cells that comprises said sensor is additionally provided.
