This vacuum circuit breaker system is characterized by comprising: a vacuum circuit breaker comprising a power supply capacitor, an electromagnet that is driven by the power supply capacitor, and a voltage sensor that measures the voltage of the power supply capacitor; and a state monitoring device comprising an operating time measurement unit that measures the capacitor charging time of the power supply capacitor on the basis of the voltage of the power supply capacitor, which has been measured by the voltage sensor, and a comparison unit that compares the capacitor charging time of the power supply capacitor, which has been measured by the operating time measurement unit, and the initial capacitor charging time of the power supply capacitor, which has been previously measured, and determines the presence or absence of abnormality of the power supply capacitor.
