A hatch (1) for access to a rotating drum (2), particularly for machines for processing hides, fabrics, and the like, which includes at least one movable panel (10) slidingly supported in a frame (20) associated with the drum (2), defining at least one closed position, in which the panel (10) obstructs an opening (3) provided in a circumferential wall (4) of the drum, and at least one open position, in which the panel (10) clears the opening; the frame (20) includes a guiding means (21a, 21 b) which is slidingly engaged with the panel (10) to guide its circumferential sliding in the transition between the closed position and the open position.
