Provided is a feature for forming droplets with which it is possible to stably isolate droplets.　The present invention provides a microparticle isolation device comprising: a voltage supply unit for supplying a drive voltage to a vibration element that imparts vibration to an orifice at which a fluid stream is generated; a control unit for controlling conditions for the driving supplied to the vibration element on the basis of the relative relationship between droplets discharged from the orifice and satellite droplets present among the droplets; and an isolation unit for isolating droplets that include the microparticles on the basis of optical information detected from the microparticles flowing in a flow path.
