The present disclosure pertains to a wireless device, a wireless communication method for the wireless device, a wireless terminal, a wireless communication method for the wireless terminal, a wireless base station, and a wireless communication method for the wireless base station with which it is possible to realize stable communication in response to a change in the communication environment of a wireless LAN. A communication device determining the quality of communication with a base station, requesting transition determination information from surrounding base stations so that information constituting a criterion for determining communication quality is transmitted, by being included in a beacon, at a stage before signal quality drops to an extent that the base station needs to be immediately switched, and selecting, on the basis of the transition determination information included in the beacon transmitted in response to the transition determination request, a base station with which a communication connection is to be established. The present invention can be applied to a communication system in a wireless LAN.
