Disclosed is a fully automatic microorganism identification and drug sensitivity analysis system, comprising a machine housing, and a sample addition unit, a sample recognition and recording unit, a plate support unit, an incubation unit, a detection unit and a plate transfer unit disposed in an inner chamber of the machine housing. The sample addition unit automatically accomplishes loading and unloading of a pipette tip, liquid pipetting, and sample addition into a plate. The sample recognition and recording unit is located at a side of the sample addition unit and performs scanning, recording and automatic selection of a sample vial containing a sample. The plate support unit is located on another side of the sample addition unit and is used for loading, scanning and recording a plate. The incubation unit incubates the plate after completion of sample addition. The detection unit carries out identification and drug sensitivity detection on the incubated plate . The plate transfer unit, serving as a mechanism connecting the plate support unit, the sample addition unit and the incubation unit, transfers the plate from the plate support unit to the sample addition unit, and then from the sample addition unit into the incubation unit. The present invention has the advantages of simple and convenient operation, large sample processing capability, and high degree of automation.
