The present invention provides a gel-type aerosol-generating substrate cartridge insertable into an electrically heated smoking article, the gel-type aerosol-generating substrate cartridge comprising: a gel-type aerosol-generating substrate which contains glycerin and gelatin and exists in a gel phase, a semi-solid phase, or a solid phase in a first temperature range including room temperature, changes to a liquid phase in a second temperature range including 70°C, and vaporizes into aerosol in a temperature range of 150 to 400°C; a gel-receiving body in which the gel-type aerosol-generating substrate is received; and wrapping paper which is wrapped around the side surface of the gel-receiving body to form a cylindrical shape having a length of 7 to 20 mm and a diameter of 5 to 8 mm. Further, the present invention provides an electrically heated smoking article and an aerosol generation device and system therefor, the electrically heated smoking article comprising: a filter; the gel-type aerosol-generating substrate cartridge provided upstream of the filter; and a tobacco body including a tobacco cut filler and provided upstream of the filter and upstream or downstream of the gel-type aerosol-generating substrate cartridge, wherein the filter, the gel-type aerosol-generating substrate cartridge, and the tobacco body are wrapped with the wrapping paper to form a cigarette.
