Disclosed are a board edge covering member (10), a board edge covering roll, a board edge covering mechanism (30) and a board edge covering method. The board edge covering member (10) comprises two adhesive tapes (110) disposed at an interval. One side of the adhesive tapes (110) is an adhesive-bearing side, on which a release film (120) is attached, and the other side of the adhesive tapes (110) is affixed with a protective film (130). The protective film (130) comprises a protective portion (132), and two positioning portions (134) which are disposed in an offset manner at two sides of the protective portion (132). Both adhesive tapes (110) are affixed onto the protective portion (132), and the two adhesive tapes (110) are disposed at an interval according to an edge covering position of a board (1) requiring edge covering. The positioning portions (134) have positioning holes. The board edge covering member (10) can be used with a board edge covering mechanism (30) to perform an edge covering operation on the board (1). The invention reduces manual operations, saves manpower and working hours, improves efficiency, and is suitable for mass operations. Using the member with the board edge covering mechanism (30) to carry out positioning improves the function and precision of edge covering and adhesive affixing.
