Provided is an ion exchange resin pretreatment device that can simply and economically reduce water content. The ion exchange resin pretreatment device is characterized by: including at least an undiluted solution tank that stores a nonaqueous solvent, an ion exchange resin container that accommodates an ion exchange resin, and a water content removal device that removes water content in the nonaqueous solvent; and including at least one liquid feeding pipe, chosen from between a circulating liquid feeding pipe that allows the nonaqueous solvent to flow from the undiluted solution tank and through the ion exchange resin container and the water content removal device in that order, and that returns the passed nonaqueous solvent to the undiluted solution tank thereafter, and a circulating liquid feeding pipe that allows the nonaqueous solvent to flow from the undiluted solution tank and through the water content removal device and the ion exchange resin container in that order, and that returns the passed nonaqueous solvent to the undiluted solution tank thereafter.
