The glass run channel includes a base portion, an inboard lip extending from, the base portion to form a first wall of the channel, and an inboard glass seal portion extending from the inboard lip. A leap seal portion extends from one of the inboard lip and the inboard glass seal portion, along at least a portion of the glass run channel.
