Disclosed are an air tightness detection device, a lamp body waterproof structure as well as an air tightness detection and sealing method. The air tightness detection device is used for being directly assembled at an open end of a workpiece, so as to form an enclosed space for detecting the overall air tightness. The air tightness detection device comprises a mounting base (1) and an interface valve (2). The air tightness detection device is fixedly connected to the open end of a semi-closed workpiece via the mounting base (1), and is correspondingly and detachably connected to the wall circumference of the workpiece. With no need of immersing a product in water, the high-precision air tightness detection device can detect whether the air tightness is qualified by measuring the pressure drop inside product cavity within a specified time period. The air tightness detection device is used for being directly assembled at the open end of the workpiece, so as to form an enclosed space as part of a sealed cavity of the product to be detected. The air tightness detection device can detect the air tightness of an interface, thereby facilitating the discovery of wear pattern for timely maintenance.
