Provided are a method for hooking and discharging a battery core and a discharging mechanism that is adaptive to the method. The method is specifically as follows: at least two material taking pieces pass through a battery core in a length direction of a winding needle, the material taking pieces then expand in a radial direction of the winding needle so as to open the battery core, and the action of taking up the battery core is thus completed by the combined action of a propping force exerted on an end of the battery core by the material taking pieces and a friction force exerted on an inner wall of the battery core by the material taking pieces. Compared with the traditional method, in the process of implementing the discharging scheme disclosed in the present invention, the material taking pieces always tightly press the inner wall of the battery core, such that phenomena, such as an inner diaphragm of the battery core being taken out and crumpled, are effectively avoided, thereby ensuring the forming quality of the battery core. Moreover, the action process thereof is very simple. In addition, a discharging mechanism that is adaptive to the method is of a very simple structure design, facilitates action control, and facilitates the overall structure design and layout of a battery core winding device.
