The dust removing method for the air-conditioner outdoor unit comprises: determining the dust accumulation coefficient of an outdoor unit, wherein the dust accumulation coefficient is the amount of accumulated dust within a unit time; determining an accumulated dust accumulation value according to the dust accumulation coefficient, wherein the dust accumulation coefficient K multiplied by time t equals to the accumulated dust accumulation value Y; and determining whether the accumulated dust accumulation value exceeds a preset value, and if yes, triggering a dust removing operation.
