PHYTOCOMPLEX AND SELECTED EXTRACT OF A MERISTEMATIC CELL LINE OF A PLANT BELONGING TO THE GENUS MELISSA

The present invention relates to a meristematic cell line selected from tissue, preferably from callus tissue, of a plant belonging to the genus Melissa. The invention also relates to a derivative of the selected cell line, i.e. a phytocomplex or an extract of the cell line. The selected meristematic cell line is characterized by a high rosmarinic acid content. Furthermore, the present invention relates to the cosmetic, nutraceutical and medical use of the selected meristematic cell line or a derivative thereof.
