Provided is a microhead that has an extremely low amount of backlash despite having a simple structure. A microhead 10 comprises a spindle 11, sleeve 13, thimble 15, backlash absorption member 17, and collar 19. The spindle 11 has a male screw part 11a. The sleeve 13 has a female screw part 13a corresponding to the male screw part 11a. The spindle 11 is inserted into the sleeve 13. A portion of the sleeve 13 is inserted into the thimble 15, which is capable of rotating with the sleeve 13 as a rotation shaft and has a part that is connected to one end of the spindle 11. The cylindrical backlash absorption member 17 is fixed to the sleeve 13 at a position within the sleeve 13 opposing the male screw part 11a of the spindle 11 in a state in which the spindle 11 is inserted into the backlash absorption member 17. The backlash absorption member 17 prevents spindle 11 backlash.
