The invention relates to a device for illuminating the D6 - pedestrian crossing traffic sign, in continuous mode, regardless of the time of the day and season of the year, which is intended to inform road users about the location of the pedestrian crossing and about the presence or absence of a pedestrian in this zone. The device consists of a light source, which is LED diodes (19) installed in a square frame (20). The LED diodes (19) are powered by a photovoltaic cell (13) mounted on a support structure (14). The LED diodes (19), using two RGB LED dimmers (23) and two manual LED dimmers (24), in a system for control of the stroboscopic operation and the light color of the LED diodes (19), as well as the motion sensor (17), provide illumination for the D6 - pedestrian crossing traffic sign from its four sides, in two LED (19) stroboscopic operation and light color modes. The radio module (25) acts as a transmitter and receiver to communicate with the other device located on the opposite side of the road, which ensures their synchronized operation at the same time.
