A human motion recognition method and device. The method comprises: acquiring a video file of a target object (S101); parsing each video image frame, extracting a human body region image of the target object from the video image frame, and determining an interaction object comprised in the video image frame (S102); marking, in the human body region image, all key region in a pre-configured list of human body key regions, and acquiring feature coordinates of each of the key regions (S103); generating a key feature sequence according to the corresponding feature coordinates of the key regions in each video image frame (S104); determining candidate motions of the target object according to the key feature sequence of the key regions (S105); and respectively calculating a matching degree between each candidate motion and the interaction object, and determining a type of motion of the target object according to the matching degree (S106). An interactive motion is used to determine whether a target user is performing interactive actions, such that multiple similar postures can be distinguished from each other, and the accuracy of motion recognition is further improved.
