When there is a vehicle dispatch request from a user, the present invention determines, from among boarding location candidates, an appropriate boarding location at which a user can surely arrive. The invention comprises a vehicle dispatching information data server (1), a vehicle-mounted on-board unit (2), and a mobile terminal device (3) that exchange information by wireless communication. The following procedure is used in this vehicle dispatching service boarding location determination method for determining a boarding location at which a user who requested the dispatch of a vehicle boards a dispatched vehicle. When there is a vehicle dispatch request from a user, position information of the vehicle dispatch request spot is acquired. Boarding location candidates present in the vicinity of the vehicle dispatch request spot are calculated on the basis of the vehicle dispatch request spot and map information. A boarding location recognition degree of difficulty (R), which is the degree of difficulty for a user to recognize a boarding location candidate as a boarding location, is calculated. A boarding location candidate with a low boarding location recognition degree of difficulty (R), from among the boarding location candidates, is determined to be the boarding location for the user to board the dispatched vehicle (4).
