This cell evaluation device comprises: an acquisition unit that acquires an image set of a plurality of cell images captured in a time series during culturing of a plurality of cells having a protrusion structure; a reception unit that receives a specification of a cell of interest, which is at least one cell among the plurality of cells appearing in one cell of interest image other than the oldest cell image in the image set, and which is a cell of interest to a user; an identification unit that, by capturing the growth process of a protrusion structure on the basis of the image set, identifies a protrusion structure of interest, which is a protrusion structure extending from the cell of interest in the cell of interest image; and a display control unit that performs control for displaying the protrusion structure of interest with a display format different from that of other protrusion structures in the cell of interest image.
