The present open sight for a sporting firearm consists of a rear sight (1) having a vertical rectangular slit, and a front sight (2). Moreover, the front sight (2) is configured to have a central vertical slit (4), and said slit (4) is provided with an upper bar (5). The outer visual limit of the upper bar (5) is horizontal. Moreover, the front sight (2) has a longitudinal mounting groove (3) for precise adjustment and fastening on the muzzle of the barrel of a weapon.
