A driver assistance system and method based on millimetre wave radar, a terminal, and a storage medium, comprising: at least one millimetre wave (mmW) transceiver (Tx/Rx), an original data processing unit, a dynamic/static separation unit, a fusion unit, an analysis unit, and a decision-making unit; pre-processing, fusion, dynamic/static separation, acquisition of individual semantics, tracking, and analysis can be performed on point cloud data obtained only by millimetre wave radar, without relying on visual sensors, thus being capable of achieving the same effect as a visual sensor processing images to acquire a target, and also being capable of using visual perception data and radar perception data fusion, and then implementing processing or analysis, being more accurate in terms of relative distance, speed, and angle data when tracking a target object, and being more suitable for use in complex scenarios such as heavy pedestrian flow environments like car parks, zone parks, and underground parking garages.
