SYSTEM AND APPARATUS FOR ANALYSIS OF MENTAL ILLNESS-RELATED GENOME BY USING SNP

Mental illness refers to mental health conditions that affect a person's thinking, mood, behavior, etc., and representative examples thereof include attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), panic disorder, narcolepsy, bipolar disorder, depression, schizophrenia, and so on. Mental illness is in an area where pathological causes and mechanisms still remain mostly unrevealed even by contemporary medicine. However, personal SNP analysis is expected to predict the plausibility of onset of mental illness. Accordingly, the present invention relates to a system and an apparatus for analysis of mental illness by using SNP. The system according to the present invention is operated using an algorithm that is improved to further comprise a reference value correcting step for processing aberrant values from a conventional algorithm and as such, shows an effect of providing more accurate disease prediction results.
