The present invention relates to a method for designing a timber house, the timber house using a reference unit (10) which is a cube space composed of a flat surface in a rectangular shape having a predetermined finish line reference size (d) based on a reference line as the size of one side, and the height being the finish line reference size (d). Here, the timber house includes at least two reference units (10), and has an external wall composed of a plurality of unit outer wall bodies (30) corresponding to a light-frame wood structure. To this end, the present method comprises: a step (a) that an entire flat surface is determined by successively aligning the plurality of reference units (10) horizontally, vertically, or horizontally/vertically; a step (b) that an entire outer wall of the entire flat surface is set by the plurality of unit outer wall bodies (30); a step (c) that a structure member (20) is arranged at a corner which does not have the unit outer wall body (30) among the corners of the plurality of reference units (10); a step (d) that a core (40) is determined to be included in one reference unit in the determined entire flat surface, while including at least one between a portion of the unit outer wall bodies (30) and the structure member (20); and a step (e) that a kitchen and a restroom are arranged at the determined core (40). Here, the plurality of unit outer wall bodies (30) include a wooden frame (31) composed of a plurality of studs and an OSB panel unit (32). In addition, the predetermined finish line reference size (d) is determined corresponding to the size of the studs constituting the wooden frame (31) and the size of an OSB panel constituting the OSB panel unit (32).;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2020
