New Strawberry Variety Berryqueen and the Method for Breeding the Same

The present invention relates to a berry queen which is new strawberry variety and a breeding method thereof. The berry queen is obtained by cross-bringing Seolhyang as main sample variety and Maehyang as sub-sample variety wherein a fruit shape thereof is a long oval. In addition, the berry queen has a higher sugar ratio compared to the Seolhyang as main sample variety and the Maehyang as sub-sample variety, and flowering time and harvest time thereof are fast, thereby suitable for forcing culture.
