USB Method and apparaus for managing license of software using the USB memory

The present invention relates to a method for managing software license using a USB memory. More specifically, the method for managing software license using a USB memory comprises: a registration step of storing installation registration information generated by encrypting a unique ID of a terminal in which S/W is installed using an S/W installation file, a unique ID and license serial number of the USB memory, in each of the USB memory and the terminal in which the S/W is installed, when the USB memory storing the S/W installation file and the encrypted license file is connected to the terminal and the license file is valid; and an authentication step of determining whether the installation registration information is identical to pre-stored installation registration information, and authenticating the same when an execution request of the S/W installed in the connected terminal is received, wherein the S/W is executed when the authentication is performed in the authentication step.
