The present invention relates to a method for mediating car insurance depending on a user type classified based on a user characteristic and a server using the same. The method for mediating car insurance depending on a user type classified based on a user characteristic comprises: (a) a step of allowing the server to provide a type input UI for allowing a specific user to input a user type on a screen of a user terminal and to obtain the user type inputted by the user; and (b) a step of allowing the server to mediate car insurance to the specific user by using at least one among a first module for confirming previously subscribed insurance information of the specific user, a second module for inactivating at least a part of the UI provided to the user, and a third module for inquiring the authenticity for the previously subscribed insurance of the user and detailed information for the previously subscribed insurance depending on the obtained user type. The present invention solves a conventional money providing problem by classifying a new client depending on a characteristic and differently applying a car insurance mediating algorithm depending on a type of the classified client. The present invention allows the client to easily compare an insurance fee by classifying the type of the client by an update joining person, a car replacing person, an additional vehicle purchasing person, and a new car purchasing person and providing an intuitive interface depending on each type.
