Disclosed are a method of sharing and interworking functions of an internet of things (IoT) device for a smart home service, and a system thereof. According to the present invention, the method of sharing and interworking functions of an IoT device may comprise the steps of: requesting registration of functions and interface information corresponding to a plurality of IoT devices to a domain name system (DNS) server; requesting an inquiry of functions and interface information corresponding to a specific IoT device to the DNS server; in response to the request, receiving a name authority pointer (NAPTR) record from the DNS server; and providing a mashup function formed based on the received NAPTR record.
