The present invention relates to a composition for alleviating skin wrinkles or improving skin elasticity, comprising, as an effective component, protein hydrolysates of larvae of Tenebrio molitor (mealworm) hydrolyzed by at least one of flavourzyme or alcalase, which are proteases. More specifically, it is confirmed that the protein hydrolysates comprises peptides of 0.11 kDa or more to less than 1 kDa, thereby exhibiting excellent effects of preventing, alleviating, and treating skin wrinkles through promoting adipogenic differentiation, such as increasing the expression of adiponectin, PPAR-γ, and C/EBP α, or increasing the mRNA expression of adipogenic differentiation marker genes. In addition, the composition of the present invention may be utilized as a composition for healing wounds and cosmetic uses, a composition for alleviating hair loss or promoting hair growth, and the like.
